Early July

Already , it’s July in the Brainerd Lakes Area! The mid-summer fishing has been good! Walleyes can still be caught, especially in the mornings, and the bass(largemouth and smallmouth) and pike activity has been very good. Leeches and Redtails continue to be the most productive bait for walleyes 12-24 feet of water. Plastics and jig and minnow are works for bass along the weed line.
